Change how your coin looks in wallets (name, picture, links)
A beginner-friendly guide to updating the public profile people see in apps, checking the result, and deciding when to lock the profile forever.

- Profile
Most buyers do not read block explorers for fun. They glance at a wallet and decide in seconds: Do I recognize this coin?
That recognition comes from your public profile: name, symbol, picture, short description, and links.
Update your profile (no code)
- Open Token Metadata Editor.
- Paste your coin’s address.
- Update the fields you want to change.
- Approve in your wallet.
- Check the result in Solana Token Checker and inside a real wallet app (mobile and desktop).
Good habits that prevent drama
- Use a crisp square logo that still looks good small.
- Double-check links so they go to the real site you control.
- Change one thing at a time if you are nervous—then verify.
When you are ready to say “this is final”
If you want the profile to never change again, read Lock your profile and use Revoke Update Authority—only after you are sure every field is correct.
If you have not launched yet
You can also set branding during creation: Create a coin online.
