Freeze Token Balances

If your project still has freeze control, paste the token address and wallet list—then freeze those holders’ balances in one signed step. If freeze was already turned off, we say so clearly.

Freeze token balances
Load a token by address. If freeze control still exists, connect the wallet that holds that control, list holder wallets, and approve once. If freeze was already removed, we show a large notice—nothing to sign.

Token address

How it works

Follow these steps in order. Each card is a checkpoint before you move on.

  1. 1
    Paste the coin address
Load the coin first. We only read public information here—no wallet charge until you choose to freeze.
  2. 2
    Check freeze control
If freeze was never available or is already turned off, you will see a clear message and the tool stops. Otherwise we show which wallet can freeze balances.
  3. 3
    Connect the right wallet
Connect the same wallet that can freeze—usually the project’s control wallet. Then list holder wallets, one per line.
  4. 4
    Approve once
Review the estimated total, approve in your wallet, and the listed balances are frozen where a balance record exists and was not already frozen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about this tool and what happens when you use it.

What does “freeze” mean for holders?
Their coins stay in their wallet, but they cannot send or trade them until someone with thaw permission unfreezes that balance. It is a serious compliance or safety step—only use it when you understand the impact.
Why is a wallet missing from the freeze list?
We use each wallet’s usual balance slot for that coin. If they never received the coin (or the balance is empty), there is nothing to pause yet—we skip those and explain after you run.
Can I freeze if freeze control was removed?
No. If freeze authority was revoked, nobody can freeze anymore—that is permanent. The page tells you in large type so you do not waste time.
How much does it cost?
A small flat service fee (shown after pricing loads) plus the usual network cost. Your wallet shows the exact amount before you approve.

Freeze holder balances when your token still allows it

Some projects keep the ability to pause certain wallets’ coins for compliance or incident response. This tool walks you through loading the token, confirming freeze control still exists, listing wallets, and signing one transaction that freezes each eligible balance record.

If freeze was already revoked—or never existed—we stop immediately with a clear message so you are not guessing.
